Karen and Thomas has been married for 10 years and have been making art together for fifteen. The duo met while working in television production and fell in love soon after. They filled their working days side by side with graphic design while spending their weekends side by side at comic conventions as Thomas made a name for himself in comics. It wasn't long before the comic con bug bit Karen and the two combined their talents to form Clemmons Comics and Crafts, now they spend their days happily working away at home, still side by side, creating comics and magical experiences for all to enjoy.

Thomas was a professional graphic designer for 25 years and is currently into his 13th year of his second career as a comic creator and children's book illustrator. He has created, written and drawn a handful of comics including the long running webcomic Robot Friday, which follows the exploits of a group of creative friends as they try to find their places in the world, that ran for nearly a decade.

Thomas has also penned and illustrated numerous short comics - X-Men: Stormy Weather, Werewolf and Unicorn in Basketbrawl and An Interview with A Chupacabra - two of which are printed in collabrative anthology comics. He is currently finishing up chapter one of his first graphic novel, Hope Texas.

In addition to comics, Thomas has also written a how-to-draw booked entitled The Design A Super Imagination Field Guide. This 44 page tome encompasses all of the knowledge of drawing and creating a unique drawing style that Thomas has honed in more than a decade of comic illustration. Thomas loves to help people learn to draw and often draws with and for fans at conventions.

Karen is a professional graphic designer and creative crafter. She launched her crafting career in 2016 with handmade custom magic wands, bottle cap buttons and crocheted lightsabers. Karen is always trying new materials and projects and has recently begun making handmade dragon eggs that are sure to be a fan favorite.

Since co-founding Clemmons Comics and Crafts, Karen has offered her custom handmade wands online and at the many comic conventions she's attended locally and throughout the state of Texas. Not just a "Harry Potter" wand, Karen's custom magic wands reflect the style and interests of the person commissioning the wand. She uses a special blend of inks and custom crafted design to make each wand unique to the recipient.
